$11,000
Fund a front line international social worker for one entire year — salary and expenses.
The Exodus Road ensures that trained local social workers are giving trauma-informed care and crisis support to survivors immediately following a rescue. These staff members offer advocacy during and after a police operation, assess survivor needs (both children and adults), and ensure their safety and dignity. They also provide case management for survivors in follow-up services, including home assessments, support in the legal proceedings against their traffickers,
coordinating medical and mental health care, and more. $11,000 is the average of one international salary and expenses for one social worker for 2024.
After your gift, The Exodus Road will send you a short bio on the social worker your funding is supporting.
$5,000
Care for one survivor of sex trafficking in Thailand in our Freedom Home for the first three months post-rescue.
This critical care places female survivors in a safe home surrounded by trained social workers and mental health professionals. These young women often have children with them, and those children are cared for at home. Clients at Freedom Home receive medical care, trauma-informed therapy, legal advocacy, safe shelter, and have all their physical needs met. At the end of the three months, clients can choose to enter Freedom Home’s longer-term mentorship program for an additional 18-month program, complete with job and life skills training and eventual employment placement.
After your gift, The Exodus Road will send you a mid-year report of the survivors that were served in our short-term program by your support.
$5,000
Fund ten community workshops in the United States teaching at-risk teens and their parents how to protect themselves from online exploitation.
Through our new program on digital safety, INFLUENCED, The Exodus Road will conduct strategic education programming in communities in the US where high rates of digital exploitation and/or trafficking take place. The training, which includes statistics, stories, engaging skills building, and holistic conversations about digital health and safety, will be implemented specifically into identified high-risk populations.
After your gift, The Exodus Road will send you photos of the workshops you helped fund when they happen in 2024!
$1,324
Fund one rescue operation for a victim of sex or labor trafficking.
The Exodus Road’s teams work with police to help find victims of trafficking and gather evidence for survivors’ freedom and the arrest of their traffickers for prosecution. To date, TER has helped law enforcement free nearly 2500 victims — many of them children. Our global average cost of one person’s freedom is $1,324. This expense covers the cost of local investigations, law enforcement support, travel and cost for the staff, and operation expenses. Fund one or several!
