How serious is human trafficking today?

Estimates state that there are over 40 million modern-day slaves in the world today. 71% of them are female and 25% are children. Of those abused, nearly 40% are in commercial sexual exploitation or forced marriage. Trafficking happens in every country, including the United States.

What is The Exodus Road?

The Exodus Road is an established nonprofit that helps find and free those trapped in human trafficking by directly working with local police. They empower front line investigations and missions, which lead to rescues and arrests. They then work with social workers and partners to facilitate aftercare services for survivors.
