“You may know that I am a board member at the anti-human trafficking organization, The Exodus Road. This Giving Tuesday, I want to invite you to join us in supporting the work that the organization is doing to find, free, and care for survivors of trafficking.
If you click the link, you will have a chance to hear Camila’s story. Her story is representative of so many young girls and women that our teams have helped to free in 2024. As in Camila’s story, many girls (and boys!) are lured from their homes with the promise of a job offer that would drastically reshape their future. It’s the dream of every parent. Unfortunately, in many cases, the real truth behind the situation is much more sinister than it seemed. What began with a job offer can easily end in human trafficking.
Here is the thing: despite the enormity of this issue, we CAN make a difference.
