Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), and serving as a member of TER’s executive leadership team, the Vice President of Advancement (VP-A) is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive advancement plan to support all aspects of philanthropic giving and to create a best in class Advancement team for The Exodus Road. The VP-A provides the leadership, direction, and coordination for all fundraising programs that secures financial resources from all donor segments. The VP-A is the catalyst to strategically grow the advancement program.

Multimedia Intern, Colorado Springs

Multimedia Intern, Colorado Springs

Volunteer/Internship

This person must have strong experience in both videography and photography. Must have editing, filming, and photographing experience and working knowledge of basic filmmaking. He/She will drive most aspects of our multimedia, including creating videos, editing footage, organizing footage, taking and editing photos, etc. Most of our video needs will involve creating short videos for social media about recent field updates, raids, missions, projects, etc. This position will be located in our Colorado Springs office. Applicant must be a self-starter, high school graduate, passionate to fight trafficking, team player, and strong communicator. This position will require a minimum of 15-20 hours weekly. Internships are typically 6 months and are currently unpaid.

Communications Intern – Fall 2018, Colorado Springs

Reporting to the Communications Manager, this position will assist with the strategy and implementation of key communication initiatives. The Comms Intern will also help to create content and edit the organization’s publications, manage and enter marketing data, as well as foster online community. This role is responsible for assisting with creation and execution of a national and local digital media program with the goal of attracting influencers, donors, and partners to support TER’s mission. This position will require a minimum of 15-20 hours weekly. Internships are typically 6 months and are currently unpaid.

Reporting to the Community Engagement Coordinator, this position assist in empowering volunteers and donors to change the communities they live in in ways that are directly related to their own gifting and skill. This position will assist with the strategy and implementation of TER volunteer programs. The CE Intern will also help to create content for volunteer orientation and foster an online network of volunteers. This role is responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of various volunteer programs, and assist in donor relations when needed. This position will require a minimum of 15-20 hours weekly. Internships are typically 6 months and are currently unpaid.

E-commerce & Merchandising Intern – Fall 2018, Colorado Springs

The E-commerce & Merchandising Intern will assist the Community Engagement Coordinator in the execution of the product line’s vision for the brand in the direct channel for the website. The intern will be responsible for fostering online relationships with customers, balancing the financial targets of brand marketing initiatives in the merchandising strategy the online store. The individual will gain knowledge of the product line, plan it’s seasonal exposure, help to pitch new products, communicate direction to team and support it’s sell through in season. This position will require a minimum of 15-20 hours weekly. Internships are typically 6 months and are currently unpaid.

The Graphic Design Intern will also help to create content and edit the organization’s publications including, but not limited to, special projects, social media content, website graphics, print materials, and design elements on merchandise. This role is responsible for assisting with creation and execution of a national and local digital media program with the goal of attracting influencers, donors, and partners to support TER’s mission. The Exodus Road is looking for a highly creative, motivated individual who can conceptualize and produce a wide variety of graphic materials for TER’s programs. The ability to create compelling designs for both print and digital platforms is essential. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with a professional staff in an enthusiastic, nonprofit, anti-human trafficking organization. This position will require a minimum of 10-15 hours weekly. Internships are typically 6 months and are currently unpaid.
