You Heard Us on Marketplace
We're honored to partner with Marketplace and grateful that you took the time to learn more. January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month—a time when millions of Americans discover that this crime is far more common than they realized.
The Exodus Road is a global nonprofit that disrupts the darkness of human trafficking through three strategic pillars: intervention, prevention education, and survivor care. We work alongside law enforcement and communities to bring lasting change.
Our Approach
How We Fight Trafficking
Intervention
Our trained teams work alongside law enforcement to help authorities free survivors from trafficking situations, hold perpetrators accountable, and dismantle criminal networks.
Prevention Education
We educate at-risk communities—especially children and vulnerable populations—to recognize the signs of trafficking and stop exploitation before it starts.
Survivor Care
Our expert staff provides trauma-informed care to survivors who are rebuilding their lives, offering support services that foster long-term healing and restoration.

Some Things Only Humans Can Do
AI can write emails and plan schedules, but it can't generate freedom for a trafficking survivor. It takes real people to deliver hope—investigators who pursue leads, social workers who provide care, and supporters like you who make the work possible.
- Investigators who build trust and gather critical intelligence
- Social workers who provide trauma-informed support
- Trainers who equip communities to recognize warning signs
- Supporters who fuel every operation and care program
