Law enforcement in Thailand reached out to The Exodus Road, asking: Do you have any current leads on cases we can investigate?
The Exodus Road’s investigative teams are constantly working on multiple cases at once, carefully watching for exploitation both in person and online. Because of this, they immediately had an urgent case they could share with law enforcement.
Our teams had discovered a teenage girl who was being advertised for sexual services. The trafficker who was brokering this girl was a woman in her 20s who had already been prosecuted for trafficking in the past, making her wary and clever in the ways she exploited the teenager.

But she was not clever enough to outsmart The Exodus Road’s investigators. Our team had already been persistent in gathering a robust case file, so law enforcement could act immediately. They arrested the trafficker, who will face a much sterner sentencing in court since she is a repeat offender.
Meanwhile, The Exodus Road’s social worker was present with the teenager who had been exploited by this experienced trafficker. The social worker comforted the girl as she gave her statement and was transitioned into aftercare services.
