UPDATE February 13, 2023: An additional trafficker has been arrested, as well as 3 customers! As planned, after the initial operation, law enforcement and The Exodus Road’s investigators continued collecting evidence. Just over a month later, they were able to find and arrest these additional perpetrators. Thank you for being a part of this success!
Thai officials have arrested a woman who advertised girls for sex on Twitter.
The Exodus Road’s team in Thailand investigated the case and provided evidence to law enforcement. Officers were able to arrest the trafficker at a hotel where she was selling girls for sex.
A 16- and 17-year-old girl, sisters, were freed from the influence of the trafficker and are now receiving aftercare at a children’s home. The trafficker admitted to trafficking an additional 4 girls. Law enforcement will follow up on the case, including tracking down past buyers.
